Feeding Instructions:
Adult chinchillas will eat approximately 20 grams of pellets per day with an unlimited amounted of good quality grass or hay. Juveniles and lactating females shoudl have unlimited pellets per day,
Supplemental vegetables and fruits are not required in the diet, but if offered should be limited to less than 10% of the total diet and treats offered at less than 2% of total diet. Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water.
Thoroughly wash feed and water bowls ona regular basis. It is always good practices to wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals.
This diet is not for human consumption.
Storage Instructions:
For best results, reseal the package between uses. Store in a cool (75F/24C or colder), dry (approximately 50%RH) location free from rodents and pests. Do not offer moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may result in performance loss, illness or death. Adhere to the "Best if used by" date.
